The Sims.co.uk was registered way back in 1998 as a website that was to be focused on all things relating to Sims. This could be flight sims, world sims, life sims and of course The Sims. We launched a community based system allowing people to sign up for free and chatter about the games they play. The site soon became a hub for people wanting information and help with Electronic Art’s hit game The Sims. So much so that even EA UK support were actually pointing people toward the site.

After many years of the site being busy and successful I had a change of jobs and effectively my priorities in life changed and I took the tough decision to take the site down for a while. The site ended up being offline for nearly 2 years which was pretty sad as the 64,000 strong community dissipated and vanished into the ether.

Now we are in 2010 and my focus of course is still on my family and work, however I am going to devote some time this year to making The Sims.co.uk a place to come visit again. How? When? Who? I don’t know as yet, if you have ideas or want to help then drop me a line.
